A single-stage 10" × 4.5" whole-house sediment filter — the short Big Blue format for higher-flow installations. The 4.5" wide Big Blue housing accommodates a high-capacity 5-micron sediment cartridge, delivering significantly better flow and longer service life than the standard 10" × 2.5" format while keeping the compact 10" cartridge height.
Why the 4.5" Diameter Matters
Whole-house sediment treatment fails in two ways: cartridges saturate too fast on heavy sediment loads, or flow drops below household demand as sediment accumulates. The Big Blue 4.5" diameter solves both:
- Larger media volume holds more sediment before replacement is needed
