Threaded Elbow | 6mm to 1/4" | Pack of 5

A pack of 5 × threaded elbow fittings — 6mm BSP male thread on one side, 1/4" push-fit tube connection on the other. The standard fitting for connecting 1/4" plastic tubing to the threaded ports on RO membrane housings, pre-filter outlets, inline cartridges, and valves.

Why You Need Threaded Push-Fit Adapters

Most RO components have BSP-threaded ports rather than tube-fit ports:

• RO membrane housing inlets and outlets
• Pre-filter cartridge housings (housing-side connections)
• Permeate tank valve outlets
• Inline filter cartridge connections
• Faucet tail connections

But the tubing between them is 1/4" plastic. The threaded push-fit elbow bridges the two formats — screw the threaded end into the BSP port, push the tubing into the other end.

The 90° elbow geometry is the most common form factor because it lets the tube exit a component sideways rather than directly outward, which is essential for tight under-sink installations where straight-out fittings would foul the housing or back of the sink cabinet.

Installation

Threaded end:

1. Apply thread tape (PTFE) 2-3 wraps clockwise
2. Thread into the BSP port and tighten with a spanner (don't over-torque — push-fit elbows are typically plastic-bodied)
3. Snug, not crushing tight

Push-fit end:

1. Cut tube square
2. Push tube fully into the fitting (~17mm)
3. Pull gently to confirm lock

Compatibility

• Threaded side: 6mm BSP male thread — fits standard RO and filter housing ports
• Push-fit side: 1/4" (6mm) tube — fits all standard 1/4" RO tubing
